Rachael: Hey guys!

Donna8: What are you future plans? Have any new projects going on?

Rachael: Yes, I've been a very busy girl! Coming out September 22 is a film I did in London last year called "Blow Dry." On October 6, another film I did, called "Get Carter" is coming out. Sometime in, I believe February of next year, "Antitrust." And I'm leaving on Monday to start filming "Josie and the Pussycats" for Universal.

GoingWiLd5: How does your family feel about your success?

Rachael: They are so proud of me it's almost embarrassing! They're really supportive and wonderful. I wish I got to see them more. I especially miss my younger brother, Ben, a lot.

Laperita: Rachel, what do you do in your free time?

Rachael: In my free time! That's funny! Talk to you guys! Honestly, I would tell you if I could remember. I have some friends visiting from out of town and we've been having a really good time just hanging out together.

NoDoubtRULES: When did you decide to be an actress?

Rachael: When I was 15, and did a short film in Minnesota. It was called "26 Summer Street" and it was based on a short story by William Carlos Williams. We shot it over two weekends, and it came out wonderfully. It's a beautiful little film. It was a really good experience!

ErikJHughes: What's the one thing you miss most about Minnesota?

Rachael: Seasons! And my family, obviously, and friends. Aside from that, I miss being in a place where there isn't such an obvious presence of the film industry. And also my dog and two cats.

Surf Diva1: Was it fun to do the CosomoGIRL cover?

Rachael: Yeah, it was! We had a lot of fun! I still can't believe it's me--it's so funny to see my face at the supermarket. Shooting the layout was fun, too, getting the looks so different in every shot, every picture.

ErikJHughes: What one event in your life would you say really defined you as a person?

Rachael: Defined me--um, as in define me as what could explain me best, who I am as a person, my values and ethics, my being; or what made me who I am at this point? I just don't know! ;-)

Guthrie106: Do you have any advice for girls wanting to pursue modeling careers?

Rachael: Good luck, and follow your dreams, but beware of putting all your self-worth in what you look like because that's not who you are.

Carlcarl: Were you a big fan of "Josie and the Pussycats?"

Rachael: I think it went off the air in '79 which is the year I was born, so no.

Pro-AM: What does it mean to you to be a Cosmo girl?

Rachael: I'm not really sure. I'm very proud to represent a good magazine that sends a good message to today's young women. But, what does it mean to me personally? I guess I'm not really sure!

Carlcarl: How did you get to be cast as Josie in the movie "Josie and the Pussycats?"

Rachael: They asked if I wanted to do it, and I said yes! That's pretty much how it went. I think they liked some of my past work, maybe saw it and thought I could relate to the character. Maybe they just thought I was right for it somehow, and I got the part.

Vic-E1: Hi Rachael, what was it like working with "Blow Dry" costar hottie Josh Hartnett? Why?

Rachael: He's a very serious actor. He takes his work above and beyond--he reads into every word, and he's a good guy.

ErikJHughes: What is the major factor in your decision to take a role?

Rachael: The film has to be strong in one of three categories. Either the character has to be someone I'm just dying to play, or else, if it's not that, the people involved. I love working with great actors or directors or production people, even. And the third would be the genre of the film.

Daisy317: Do you enjoy acting more than you would value a quieter life?

Rachael: I like acting for now--I like it a lot. At times I wish my life were quieter, but I wouldn't trade it at the moment.

TheChaos: There are rumors that you will have a part in Star Wars 2 and 3. Is that true?

Rachael: Not at all.

SweetKisses4: What is it like seeing your face on a movie screen?

Rachael: Pretty crazy! I don't think I will ever get used to it.

Mary: What was it like working with Freddie Prinze Jr.?

Rachael: Freddie is a doll! He's one of the nicest guys I know, or probably ever will. He's great to work with, and has a wonderful sense of humor.

Lulu: What's your character like in your new film, "Texas Rangers?"

Rachael: She's headstrong, and she tends to be defensive. She's on the aggressive side.

Carrie: What do you think of Ashton Kutcher? Was it fun working with him in "Texas Rangers"?

Rachael: Ashton's really great! He's very funny in the film, and if you're a fan of his, you should definitely go see it.

Nemo Smith: How do you feel about computers, such as the internet and Instant Messenger?

Rachael: I have no skills with computers at all, but have a great deal of respect for people who do. I'm not sure what an instant message is, but it sounds pretty convenient! Maybe I should look into it!

ErikJHughes: Did you enjoy playing Satan incarnate in "The Eighteenth Angel?"

Rachael: Yeah! I'm only Satan for a couple of seconds there, but it was a good time. Filming in Rome was the best!

Pro-AM: Who do you hope to next work with?

Rachael: I don't know. I'm looking forward to working with Parker Posey in "Josie and the Pussycats." She's amazing!

Guthrie106: When did you get discovered, and how old were you?

Rachael: I was fifteen, and I guess that would be 1995. It was through that short film that I was talking about earlier.

Morgant: Will you ever have a fan email address?

Rachael: What's that?

MrBen: You've got a very diverse range of upcoming movies. Was this a conscious choice, or was there something that appealed to you in each of the scripts?

Rachael: Both. I want to put together a very diverse body of work, while still playing interesting characters. It's not going to be easy.

Maxine: Did anyone pull any pranks on the set of "Texas Rangers"?

Rachael: Not that I've found out about yet! But if there were pranks pulled, it would be Ashton pulling them.
