RUMOURS  

These are "rumours" gathered from the Internet and from various e-mails and magazine articles. If you have a question or rumour that you think should be on this page and either you or I have the correct answer, please e-mail it to me and we'll see what we can do.  

1) Rachael supports "Take Back the Night." Seen in this photo, Rachael is wearing a shirt for a Take Back the Night March held in Minnesota. These marches are held to voice people's concerns about safety and their right to feel safe. Rachael has also played a rape victim in several movies. These include Country Justice, Defenders: The Payback, and Get Carter. It seems like Rachael may be an advocate for rape awareness!

2) Rachael produces her first film! Tangled is due out in theaters soon! Rachael not only helps to produce this film, but stars in it as well! :)

3) Rachael has STOPPED appearing in Lux styling advertisements and commercials! However, to my knowledge these advertisements have only been seen in Japan so far. I have seen and heard of three or four magazine ads so far and of two or three commercials. I have photos of the scans and vidcaps of the commercials available. Some don't recognize her, but it is Rachael! Please go here to find out more and see the photos! This information and photos have been provided by  Tomo . 4) "The Eighteenth Angel" is released on video! It was released for rent in October of 1998 and can be found at most rentals like Blockbuster, Hollywood Video, and Hastings. This is a film of a teen and her father's trip to Europe that end up getting mixed into a "satanic" group.

5) Rachael smokes?!? My best guess is no. I'd think that she takes care of herself and is concerned about her health. Rachael did take a puff from a cigarette in an oldTV Cable Movie "Defenders:The Payback". This movie is now available on video. After this film aired, I have gotten a couple of e-mails concerning this rumour.
 

6) Was Rachael at the "Young Stars Awards" in 1997? Yes, she was! The "Young Star Awards" wasn't televised, as far as I know and held May 4, 1997. She was nominee for her performance in "Tom and Huck". There are two photos of  her at the awards available on the net but can't be posted on this site for copyright reasons. Celebrity Sightings called Rachael a "Young Audrey Hepburn".
 

7) A rumour on The Ultimate Nat Portman Page said there was a photo spotted of "Nat" and JTT. Someone said that they supposedly were dating, but Natalie says they're just good friends. It turns out the photo was of Rachael and JTT in 1995 at the premiere of "Grumpier Old Men". Rachael and Jonathan went only as friends. What's weird is that on the photo it says "Natalie Portman and JTT". I can understand why someone would mistake this photo as Nat because in some early photos they resemble each other.
