TOM AND HUCK
SUMMARY:
It's in the middle of the 1800's, Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn stick out like a sore thumb. They are fun-loving kids in which trouble runs into them. They are witnesses to a town murder and have to deal with either coming forward with the truth in order to save someone's life and risking their own, or keeping a secret for the rest of their lives and the guilt of the hanging of an innocent friend.
The film focuses on Tom either dealing with the situation, scamming neighborhood friends, running away, and even romancing pretty Becky Thatcher.

Rachael as "BECKY":
In interviews, it seems like Rachael had a blast off and on the set of "Tom and Huck". At a point, Rachael doubted that she would get the part of Becky Thatcher because she was 15 at the time and Becky was supposed to be a 12 year old blond.
On the set, Rachael did her job but even got to fool around a bit! During a break in between scenes, Rachael and teen heart-throb, Jonathan Taylor Thomas, were surrounded in mud in which Rachael describes in 16 as "Play-Doh". They ended up playing with it and throwing it at each other. At a point, they were laughing so hard when Rachael threw one and it stuck to the side of Jonathan's head, they didn't hear the director yell "Action!" and had to reshoot the scene!
Also, off the set... one night Rachael, Jonathan, and Brad Renfro went to a movie that was playing and the film broke while they were watching it. A little joke between the three was that they had broke the film!
Also, to
clear things up... Rachael did not go out with any of the cast
from "Tom and Huck".
